driven the HRD Online training management and elearning system provides visible
evidence of knowledge attainment. Consequently the online training records produced
provide both a reward and a discipline:
The Reward - All of the HRD Online training
system's elearning courses have a knowledge quiz. Upon doing
the quiz the date the elearning course was registered, the
date the quiz was taken and the results of doing the quiz
are recorded on the user's online training report. If a user
successfully completes a Content Quiz, the elearning system
will allocate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours
to the users CPD record. If a corporate blended training solution
is required then CPD hours could contribute credits towards
an ILM Management Qualification.

The Discpline - Every HRD Online training user is a member of at least
one master group and every master group has at least one controller. (A HRD Online
training system group controller could be that group's line manager, training
manager, or coach, or all three, see Management).

Online training records are visible and access is
instant and therefore users can be supported by training managers and coaches,
and they can be directed, and held accountable, by line managers! |
A HRD Online training system group controller can:
- produce a number of management reports for the
group (date range based)
- send group, or individual group
member, email, and
- access group members personal
records, where they can:
- view their online training system usage and online training
results
- update their action plans
- register them for elearning courses
This capability could help with target setting
in performance reviews, or in succession planning, etc. Group
controllers can also be an assessor if the appraisal/TNA system is utilised. Using
push learning technology and making all activity
visible removes complacency and chance - resulting in high completion levels -
i.e. a cost effective HRD solution. |
