| It is not always easy
to measure the effectiveness of elearning but the HRD Online training management
and elearning system builds measurement into TestEd and eprogrammes.
The HRD Online training system's elearning courses are linked
to the system's Training Needs Analysis and they can be used
individually or combined into TestEds and eprogrammes. All
elearning courses conclude with a "Content Quiz", i.e. a quick
test set-up to randomly access a question bank to see how
thoroughly the user has understood the elearning material
and what knowledge they have picked up. The results of these
quizes are retained on the users online training records.
These online training results are visable to authorised managers
and can be used by them during performance appraisal and coaching
sessions.
Customised eProgrammes are designed to
measure elearning effectiveness when Mandatory, Refresher,
Technical Knowledge Updates or Regulatory Compliance, if required.

The key eLearning verification feature of the HRD
Online Training System is eProgrammes |
Customised eProgrammes consist of multiple modules
and each module consists of multiple elearning courses. Knowledge verification
tests can be placed anywhere within the eprogramme's life cycle, e.g. at the start,
at the end of each session, and at the end of the eprogramme, (or before a refresher
loop commences). Several knowledge verification tests can be included and each
test builds a personal online training schedule based on the test results. The
whole elearning programme is driven by "push learning technology" -
a pre-programmed time based series of emails to inform the user of what is involved
in the elearning session, e.g. where they are, what they need to do, how long
they have, what comes next and when, etc. Also emailed are elearning corrective
bites, test results, assignments, etc. TestEds - can be
thought of as mini-eprogrammes - they are subject based, linked to appraisals,
and are more flexible in handling multiple tests and historical test results
Customised TestEd & eProgrammes can
be designed to support blended learning multi-media, e.g.
blended learning solutions can include workshops, work based
assignments and tutor interactive coaching. For further details
see eprogrammes
Further
blended learning can be achieved by incorporating your learning material either
within a customised elearning eprogramme or via links to your organisations documents
or web pages. |
